Bows, bows, bows!! December 23, 2009 Melanie Lane 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Girly doll is so pretty! I love her. At wal mart, I got her for $8. She really wasn't my first choice; I wanted to get the Cutie, Sassy, or Glam fashionista first, but all they had at the time was Girly, Artsy or Wild. There was only one or two of each. I guess everybody had the same idea I did!:)
Girly doll is dressed in a sparkly pink dress, accented with ruffles, ribbons and a big bow. I particularly like it because it gives her a fuller, bustier figure. I've never been a fan of the stick-thin, no-hip no-shape models. Her hair is not as poufy as in the picture, but I think it's prettier the way it is. She comes with a pretty pink bracelet, pink purse with a bow, and silver butterfly necklace.I love her ballerina super heels, accented with (what else?) bows. Her body, fully poseable, is sooo much fun to play with. Although, I really don't think she would stand much rough play. Not for smaller girls. No breaks in mine yet, but they don't seem sturdy enough to withstand much jerking or beating. Still, it's an extremely fun toy and leaves a lot of room for imagination.
Perfect Posable Barbie Doll February 3, 2010 Luisa Felix (Hoboken, New Jersey) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you buy only one Barbie doll in your life, this is the one to
get. Doll is beautiful, can bend elbows and knees in extreme, and
can sit and also pose in one hundred ways. A really lifelike doll!
This is the best most playable doll I seen Mattel do in a very long
time. I wish Mattel would make their Marilyn Monroe series dolls
with this posable body.---- This Fashionistas doll is truly durable
and will not break. It is made to last for years. With her blonde hair
and joyful face, this Barbie doll is a treasure. You don't need to buy
one hundred Barbie dolls, when all you need is this one doll. My only
complaint was/is that she has no ear holes to put earrings upon. I
bought this at Amazon.com
Cute doll February 5, 2010 MoonlightMommy (Inland Empire, CA) I was afraid my daughter (age 9) wouldn't like the look of the joints on this type of Barbie. It isn't even an issue! She loves posing her and making her move in ways a typical Barbie can't. Overall, a great toy! :)
Fun January 13, 2010 aurua (culpeper, va United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 3 year old loves this Barbie, she loves that she can bend Barbie over and make her stand on her head with her arms streched out and her elbows bent like she is double jointed. Barbie sits on the edge of the end table. And while yes the package says over 100 poses, something a simple a moving her wrist in a different direction is considered a different pose. I don't know how educational Barbie is supposed to be. Barbie is fun for my daughter and is wearing her favorite color.
Not like in the good ol' days January 6, 2010 Jolene Pirrone 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Today's Barbies are made of very cheap plastic. The doll looks fine, but seems flimsy to me. Oh well.
