My bike barbie March 23, 2010 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This set is very fun to play with. THE BIKE: this deserves 2 stars. It was really fun, and mine never lost the pedals. However, the thing that holds Barbie in broke about 2 months after I recieved it. My mom Super-glued the broken piece back on, but it popped back off!!! Yuck, I hate the bike! The Dog: umm, average little puppy WITH sunglasses. Deserves about 3 stars, since it's kinda boring, and it wears sunglasses!!The barbie: THE ONLY REASON I GAVE THIS FOUR STARS!!! She is sooooooo pretty!! The sunglasses are SEWN onto her head, but I ended up cutting them off. They now fit her, on her head, and on her eyes. She has jointed legs, which are SUPER floppy, but I am weird, so I like them. She has layered hair (which is NOT easy to style), a purple helmet, a blue and pink mini dress, slip-on style canvas look shoes, pink leggings, and a purple brush (Which I NEVER use, I ended up using my American Girl wire doll brush, and it works better). Overall, if you are looking for a cute barbie with jointed legs, I would recommend this.
Barbie has Restless Leg Syndrome January 2, 2010 Elliot D. Hudgins 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Our little one got this for Christmas. She enjoys it along with the plethora of Barbies she already had, but nonetheless, awesome gift. My complaint is that barbie's legs are so wobbly (due to the ability to ride the bicycle) that she is not fit to do much else. The bicycle is fairly made. I think it will withstand the test of time. I wish that Mattel would get a hint that we really don't need a doll packaged with every accessory.

There is absolutely no way that you can get the Barbie to stay on the bike for any length of time. The pedals fall of, Barbie falls off, her hands won't stay on the handlebars. All it did was frustrate my daughter. At least some of the other Barbie sets come with a normal Barbie doll that you can play with if the accessories don't work out. Not this one. The legs are made to be super floppy and flexible for riding the bike. She can't even sit right. No fun... no fun at all.
just pink junk March 1, 2009 Grown-up Geek 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
My daughter used her birthday money and it was complete junk from the moment it came out of the box. The harness was so tight that she could not get the doll into without adult assistance. The bike would not support the weight of the doll and the front wheel kept falling off. This is definitely not worth the money and was heartbreaking for my daughter.
Worthless January 4, 2010 AltoWoman 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My daughter received this doll for Christmas. Barbie's feet don't stay on the pedals. The bike is flimsy and not strong enough or sturdy enough to support the doll. I don't know if the puppy "bounces in the basket when Barbie rides" as advertised, because the toy doesn't actually work well enough for Barbie to ride it. A total disappointment for my daughter. Because of the construction of the legs for riding the bicycle, the doll doesn't sit or stand properly. So, you can't get it to ride the bike, but you can't make it stand or sit, either. Great. What use is it?
