5 out of 5 stars Barbie as Debbie Harry   December 23, 2009
Patrick J. Walsh (Dallas, TX USA)
The Barbie have out done them selves, I put in a pre order on amazon without having seen one picture.

3 out of 5 stars Why no Custom Face Mold?   December 29, 2009
Scott Coblio (West Hollywood, CA United States)
My only issue here is the face mold is still Barbie, so instead of feeling like a "Debbie" doll, this just feels like a Barbie with Debbie's hair and dress. Couldn't Mattel have designed a facemold specifically for an entertainer whose appeal lies so much in her incredible face & bone structure? Should have been a no-brainer.

Still, kudos to Mattel for immortalizing in vinyl this performer who, in her heyday, was more than once referred to by journalists as a "pure punk Barbie doll." Now she really is one!
